Running Out of Hue
We were asked by our English teacher to make a poem regarding English literature. I chose the theme "My Fear in Speaking English". it was a homework but I totally forgot about it. So I made this one during my ride from home to school in the morning, that's only about 20-25mins.
It's really not good but I'm glad to share it.

Why can't I speak English?
Because I'm afraid to speak gibberish.
Why can't I speak English?
Because I'm afraid to look like a fish.
Will I still be able to speak English?
To speak the language is my only wish.
I really want to act cool,
Just like speaking English in school.
I really want to be the rule.
But I can't, I sound like a fool.
I don't want to have a thick face like wool,
Yes, the world is so cruel.
I love English, I really do.
Yet it makes my face very blue.
I really don't have any clue,
Why every body tells me 'boo',
Every time I say the true.
I'm afraid I'll run out of hue.

Noong una tayo'y nagmamahalan ng lubusan,
Akala ko ito'y walang hangganan.
Mahal ko, huwag mo akong iwan.
Kahit ika'y lumayo, ako'y pupunta,
Ngunit hindi pala ako tama,
Ika'y aalis na pala, wala na akong pag-asa.
Ang aking mahal, huwag ka muna umalis.
Dahil kung ika'y lumisan, hindi ko matitiis.
Na mawala ang iyong piling, kay tamis.
Ano a ang aking ginawa?
Ako ba'y may mali o ika'y sawa?
Tuloy-tuloy ang aking luha parang lawa.
Maaari bang mabalik ang nakaraan?
Noong tayo'y nagmamahalan ng lubusan.
O giliw ko, huwag ka nng lumisan.
Sana maging masaya ka at laging ngumiti,
Spat na sakin 'yan, ang aking tanging mithi,
Paalam na, iyan ang aking huling bati.
